No. The PCM compounds used in ArmorCell™ modules have been tested through over 10,000 thermal cycles (solid↔liquid) with no performance degradation over 15+ years. Chemically stable organic or inorganic PCMs are used. No replacement or renewal is required.

ArmorCell™ modules are manufactured with customizable melting points between 18°C and 60°C. Specific melting points can be selected based on your project requirements (food cooling, electronics thermal management, military inventory, etc.). No. ArmorCell™ systems have no moving parts. There are no compressors, fans, or filters that wear out and need servicing. No annual maintenance, lubrication, or filter changes required under standard use. This minimizes operational costs.

Yes. The Pro model comes with IP65, and the Max model is optionally available with IP66/67 protection. This provides protection against dust, moisture, and water jets. Contact our engineering team for harsh climate conditions or special environmental requirements.
