How PCM Works

Heat Absorption

Ambient heat is conducted into the ArmorCell™ enclosure. The PCM material transitions from solid to liquid, absorbing thermal energy.

Thermal Storage

During the phase transition, large amounts of energy are stored without changing ambient temperature — the "latent heat" effect.

Heat Release & Renewal

When the environment cools, the PCM re-solidifies, releasing stored heat and readying itself for the next cycle.
